ALBUMS

NOW AVAILABLE

“Bach/Busoni-Brahms-Schumann”

Notes

Hsin-I Huang’s debut album stands as a meticulously curated homage to musicians he loves – opening with Busoni’s transcription of Bach’s Chaconne for solo violin, transitioning to the tender, sensitive and lyrical set of Schumann’s Kinderszenen, and closing with one of the world’s most important romantic classics Brahms 3rd piano sonata.

NOW AVAILABLE

“Mighty Shadow – Rachmaninoff – Mussorgsky”

Notes

Rachmaninoff’s Variations on a Theme by Corelli is a magnificent work that starts with a simple folksong-like theme and then spirals into a symphony of magical fantasy. Mussorgsky’s Picture at an Exhibition is a piece that uses music as a narrative to describe paintings. Both pieces require tremendous technical brilliance and imaginative insights.
